I had seen a few of these before - but they are still mindblowing...

I've had a look. Bit freaked out by no 9.

cory · 01/10/2009 19:32

oooh, thanks for pointing this out. We had that book when I was little and I always wanted to get it for dcs. Will order myself copy.

hannahsaunt · 01/10/2009 19:40

Wow - these are amazing! Quite liked pic 9 as that's the stage I'm at at the moment in pregnancy.

Been looking at them with 7y DD who was fascinated.

MamaVoo · 01/10/2009 19:52

Beautiful pictures.

notyummy · 01/10/2009 20:52

I'm going to show them to 3 year old dd. Shes fascinated with the whole pregnancy and birth thing at the mo.

'But how did I get out Mummy??'

I have resisted the temptation to shout:

'F**king slowly and painfully' at her...

meemarsgotabrandnewbump · 01/10/2009 21:04

wow, that picture of the 36week baby made me feel so claustrophobic!

OnlyWantsOneFartleBerry · 01/10/2009 21:08

how do they take these???

Heated · 01/10/2009 21:16

Fascinating but at the same time

Not a squeamish person normally but yeuch @ the early stages, especially the wormy looking sperm and the crusty looking egg.

bewareofthedog · 01/10/2009 21:16

It made me feel exactly the same, newbump. I felt strangely panicky looking at number 10. Panicky and claustrophobic. I'm sure it's a wonderful place for a foetus, but it looks terrifying!

Fab pictures though.

My mum bought me that book when I was pregnant with DD1. It's absolutely incredible with some beautiful pictures.
