As we have Kim & Aggie coming into MNHQ I thought this might be of interest.

How men clean up in the battle of the sexes

"Women have long complained that men don?t pull their weight around the house.
But what a man?s housework efforts lack in quantity is made up for in quality, it seems.
Men are more thorough and less likely than women to cut corners when it comes to chores, a survey has revealed."

My dh is better at it than me.
Must be something to do with the way his brain is structured I reckon.... therefore no point at all in me making an effort because nature dictates I will never be as good as him.
I think we should run with this one, sisters.

That's true about me abetadad. I tend to have half a dozen or more jobs on the go and some are left half-done while I'm distracted by others. I also constantly do little jobs on the back of each other eg taking cups back through to the kitchen while clearing up the newspapers for recycling and letting the cat out. But to me, that's efficiency.

~It's basically the 'multi-tasking' V. The 'Focussed, one-track mind' isn't it?

I keep the house ticking over, most rooms in a bearable state.
DH (when he cleans) will have a single room gleaming and immaculately tidy but spend the whole morning in there.

I don't have time or energy to hoover under beds and sofas etc as I also have 3 DC to run around after.
