Yep, certainly has felt like it here (Central Belt of Scotland) and .

Scotia · 10/09/2009 21:41

pretty much. School holidays were a washout

snigger · 10/09/2009 21:41

In our bit?

Yup, pretty much.

shootfromthehip · 10/09/2009 21:45

Yip, my brother got married in San Diego 10 weeks ago and it has rained since I got back. Literally everyday except yesterday and today.

Bloody, bloody rubbish.

Can't get washing out, kids are miserable and the garde in wrecked. I was convinced that this year was our year for good weather.

Oh and if I hear about having a nice couple of weeks in June one more time...

shootfromthehip · 10/09/2009 21:46

the 'garden is wrecked'.

Meh.

fluffles · 10/09/2009 21:53

not on the east coast of scotland!

Gracelo · 10/09/2009 21:57

Yes, it has! Squelch.

dweezle · 10/09/2009 21:58

Pretty much. Even the last couple of days when we wre promised nice weather it's rained overnight.

We had a couple of days where it pissed down 10 hours straight and when I say pissed I mean horse, not hamster.

Scotia · 10/09/2009 22:02

Lol dweezle, exactly

geordieminx · 10/09/2009 22:06

Yup - ds has a sandpit that is about a foor deep and it was full to the top of water this afternoon.

Bleatblurt · 10/09/2009 22:06

I must live in the only non rainy part of Scotland then as while there's been rain there hasn't been THAT much. Tis been lurvely the last few days too.

geordieminx · 10/09/2009 22:08

Whilst I agree it has been nice the past couple of days it isnt summer anymore is it? Its been warmish but not summer "hot" and its dark here at 8.30...

TheBalladofGayTony · 10/09/2009 22:08

i think we have had a lovely summer, yes there was some rain but we need that or else we might all spontaneously cheer up and confuse the tourists into thinking they are in ireland

sweetkitty · 10/09/2009 22:11

same here pretty constant, we have had 2 days where it hasn't rained and we are all excited although keep having to shout at the DC "stay off the grass" it's a bog.

Agree we have had days where is has rained all sodding day too, never used to get that when I lived in London, rain for the whole day, constant, torrential rain.

prettybird · 11/09/2009 11:01

Yup

PacificDogwood · 11/09/2009 15:53

2nd day of scary fire ball in the sky . Anybody know what it is ??

sweetkitty · 11/09/2009 16:36

I don't know but scary fireball here too

I have done 6 washings in the past 2 days

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 11/09/2009 16:58

Scary fireball has appeared here in Devon too. I think it has something to do with the start of the school term. Luckily the children are protected from its effects in the classroom and are well hydrated from the 10 weeks of rain.
I have decided to hang my washing out as an experiment to see if the fireball has any practical use.
