Please have a look at my flickr pictures, linked below, they include some "age progressed" pictures - he would be 16yo now, and a "letter to Andrew":

Andrew, where are you?

Please also keep the family in your prayers/thoughts. Kevin, the father, is suffering from depression.

I have a "chain letter" email I can forward to anyone who is interested, just email me, saying you're from MN:
"suttonmb" at "talktalk" dot "net"

always keep my eye out for him when i'm in london.

Singstar · 08/09/2009 15:35

I remember seeing an appeal for him on a programme once, not sure why but it had a real impact on me, I often think of him and look out for him when I'm in London too. Love to his parents and family and hope you hear some positive news soon x

isn't it sad that this story doesn't get more coverage

MaryBS · 11/09/2009 08:22

I know the parents have done a lot to raise awareness. I mentioned it to a lady who taught in a school local to me, and she said they had a poster up.

I know the parents did a fine job contacting schools. Also its been in the papers, on TV, and elsewhere.

Teens often just don't get the interest though do they? Maybe it's because more often than not they've gone missing of their own acord which was also the case here?

It must be terrible for the parents but I also can't help wondering why he ran away in the first place.

TheFoosa · 11/09/2009 10:38

2 years already, it's heartbreaking

duchesse · 11/09/2009 10:55

Poor parents. He is the exact same as my son, I think they share a birthday- I cannot imagine how worried his parents must be. I hope they get some positive news soon; even if he doesn't want to be found there are organisations who will send messages to relatives anonymously (putting this in case Andrew finds this thread) telling them the missing person is OK.

It looks like it IS going to get press coverage:

Apparently the Times are going to be running a piece, either Saturday, or Monday.

Please God it has an effect!

good that they are getting coverage. Ican't begin to imagine how his parents must be feeling. people think 16 is so grown up, but they are still your little boys(says mum of a 17 yr old)

MaryBS · 11/09/2009 19:59

And of course, he was only 14 when he went missing

MiladyDeSummer · 19/08/2010 22:29

Thanks lankyesme I've been meaning to bump this myself.

I was doing a google image search for an actor called Andrew and his lovely face cropped up Sad

His family have a created a FB group which might be of use if you have younger people as friends on there.

2shoes · 19/08/2010 22:33

so sad there is no news

MaryBS · 19/08/2010 22:39

I know. I keep in touch with his dad, and they are still looking for him, still trying to keep his case in the public eye, will never give up... there's a website his dad is promoting for a new charity, here:
