Owner reported on Beeb later saying it had been faulty earlier but they'd fixed it and it was fine to restart, honest...

surely there's a system to "stop" a car if the other one stops for whatever reason?? >

oh my god..my mum and 9 yr old son went on this a few months ago. ds said it was rickety and came off the rails in the air at one point

I'm getting wussy about fairground rides. ds's favourite, that always comes to our local fairs, is the one where a toddler ran on the tracks and was killed a while back.

Gawd, the BIg Dipper has been rickety for years, that was art of it's charm. Not so atractive these days tho
