This is why I fear for my dd's future. I know one day I won't be around to monitor it and I only hope that the people will be kind to her.

What did this 'carer' stand to gain from it ? As well as being saddened and horrified by it, and I'm totally bewildered as to the motivation.

This is heartbreaking. How do abusive people like this get past all the supposed checks?

Something to do with the low pay, status and value of people who do caring work.

I've no idea - there is just no explanation as far as I can see. The pain this poor guy went through - he is unable to communicate too to say what really happened.
