Last seen at 9.30am. I'm amazed that it has taken 9 hours for this to make the news although of course we don't know if there was an publicity locally before this evening.

I hope that he is found safe and well. These stories always seem worse when you have children the same age.

It makes me feel sick when things like this happen. They have just said that he has gone missing before so hopefully it is a case of him wandering off and nothing more sinister.

Hoping he is found soon.

says he was in his grandparents garden.. you would think it was safe to take your eye off your ds there wouldnt you ??

Missing five-year-old boy found
A five-year-old boy whose disappearance sparked a major search on Teesside has been found safe and well.

Rhys Moorhead had last been seen playing in his grandparents' garden at Celandine Close in the Marton area of Middlesbrough at 0930 BST.

Cleveland Police said they had deployed all their available resources for the search.

It was announced just before 2000 BST that he had been found on the street in Berwick Hills.

I don't know the locations, so dn't know if it was close by or not.

phew glad you posted that hulababy (lost dd1 in legoland yesterday for about 2 minutes but my heart was racing and I wa sin total panic mode ) poor parents/granparents must have been through hell

Ooh I grew up in Berwick Hills, it's not that close for a five year old, so glad he is safe and sound. Maybe he wandered off with some older children.
