I've just done my first race for life

And it was fab, i feel really invigorated, the course was beautiful and it was soooooooooooo well organised.

At the end I had a chat for 5 mins with Nell McAndrew and she is lovely, Christine Talbot was there, but she wasn't interested in speaking to anyone.

I am so chuffed I have done it and will be doing next years without a doubt.

Its was 5km - just over 3 miles I think. All in all, our group of 5 raised over £900.00

Did Nell McAndrew run? She's very fit isn't she? - did a brilliant time in the London Marathon.

My RFL is on 12th June.

No Nell didn't run this time, she was carrying her neice abby in a sling.

Well done! It feels fantastic to cross that finishing line, doesn't it? I did it in about 1997 and then in 2000 & can still remember how brilliant it was to be surrounded by so many people all running for a good cause.
