Flame, make a note of it- you'll have to do the same to dude when he's 15!

I saw it on TV last night - it was lovely!! Tom Daley didn't appear to be embarressed at all.

I thought Tom looked very embarrassed. He's 15 for god's sake - not 8. this is a boy who had to change schools because of bullying - this isn't going to help.

His father stole his moment.

ChildOfThe70s · 22/07/2009 10:20

Nancy66 - totally agree, his Dad stole his moment and he DID look a bit embarassed. Although I would be totally bursting with pride if he was my son, I hope I would be able to contain myself till after the press conference

Thank you! I was starting to think I was just heartless and uncaring.

Yes, his family have supported him etc, but it was his moment.

noddyholder · 22/07/2009 14:16

violethill · 23/07/2009 16:57

Hope I'd have let my kid have their moment if it had been me.
