I don't know enough about the Jackson case to possibly make a judgement on whether or not he was innocent.
On the outset, he seemed a very damaged young man who was trying to live his childhood over again, having been robbed of it the first time. In that way I could understand his wanting to surround himself with children to play with them - he was never allowed any friends his own age was he?
But when it came to sleeping with them. I don't know. Some of those close to him said he viewed it all as a sleepover, but as others have said, you don't share beds at a sleepover.
There are some kids who spent time with him, such as Macaulay Culkin who, just recently, said that Jackson never molested or touched him at Neverland.
I am puzzled by Jordy Chandler's parents. What mother, what father would go so far as to take Jackson to court on allegations of child abuse, and then accept a payoff instead? If their son was abused, wouldn't they want justice? Wouldn't they want to ensure he faced ruin and was never let near children again? How did they feel when the second allegation was made?
It's far too complex a case to make a judgement on Jackson. I don't know the psychological profile of the man, I don't know about his relationships with other people or the reasons behind his friendships with kids. Neither do any of you. If he were alive, it may be pertinent to discuss these things, since he still had access to children. But now that he's dead, leaving his own children fatherless, I do wonder about the point of discussing his supposed guilt.
