here

I know he is a hated figure on MN, but it is an interesting interview. It left me questioning whether he is what I thought: a meglomaniac superego, or whether in fact, he is a man working in a horrendously difficult area, where mistakes such as those he has made ruin lives, but if the work isn't done, other lives are taken....

Yes, sophable - I read it quite carefully (for me!) His work in former Yugoslavia - over 20 years ago now of course - sounded very worthwhile and helpful. But the details of the Sally Clark affair still sound mad.

It was particularly interesting having seen the MAMA DVD which features both Brian Morgan and Penny Mellor and the family over whose daughter PM went to prison. Their story as told on the DVD says the son had actual medical conditions (forget what now) and not something induced by his mother.

I also found it interesting that there was no mention of Roy Meadow in this piece, even in passing...

Would you like to see the MAMA DVD? (It does mention Southall in passing, but is much more about Meadow.) If so pls email me with your postal address - holden_jan(@)hotmail.com
