at least they got sentenced. the news on the radio said that just a few short years back, as the prosecution would not have been able to prove which of them was more at fault, it would have been more common for them both to have got off completely!

sadly tho of course, it will happen again. it has happened over millenia that some parents are missing something vital in the genetic make-up whereby they think it ok to abuse their children.

we just have to hope tho that better punishments come into force, and more people get brave enough to speak up when we see something suspicious.
