Genuine question.

Baby Peter's Mum has said she will never forgive herself for his death.

The cynic in me wonders if she is trying to garner sympathy but why report it?

I think she's doing it to get a lighter sentence play on the judges heart strings.

It takes a certain kind of person to beat and torture a child, these aren't considered 'normal' people to me, no 'normal' person would inflict such pain on a child, on anyone for that matter.

Hope she gets life (I doubt it though) and hope she gets some of what she put baby Peter through every day in prison, but no she'll get 5 years and a brand new identity when she comes out, soemwhere to live and carry on regardless probably having more children.

NeedaNewName · 21/05/2009 13:43

No, no one else will forgive her either.

How could she have let that happen to her baby, she is supposed ot do eveything she can to protect him.

TheCrackFox · 21/05/2009 13:51

She shouldn't forgive herself for his death but it doesn't mean she shouldn't serve a hefty prison sentence.

FabulousBakerGirl · 21/05/2009 14:20

Apparently she has written a letter to the judge, a day before she gets sentenced...

I hope she is tormented day and night for the rest of her life, I hope she is has no peace.

georgiemum · 21/05/2009 14:42

So she shouldn't. Nor for the rape of her (I assume) daughter.

Hoe could she NOT know what was going on?

shinyshoes · 21/05/2009 14:53

She did though Geogie, she was abusing them before that scumbag came on the scene. She shacked up with some cunt that only added more torment to those poor children.

Vile bastards, she isn't remorseful she's after a lenient sentence

spokette · 21/05/2009 15:05

She wants a lighter sentence

georgiemum · 21/05/2009 15:11

I hope they put her in a cell with someone who likes to play.

FabulousBakerGirl · 22/05/2009 12:01

Mum gets 10 years and is eligable [sp] for parole after 5 years.
