PG women being paid to give up smoking

Do you think the money will actually help?

I gave up when we decided to ttc DS1 and surprisingly found it very very easy despite failing a few times before.

Nope. Sorry to be blunt but if you have such an addiction that you have yet to give up in pregnancy, being given cash to give up won't help.

I gave up immediately when I twigged I was pg and found it incredibly easy.

Actually, it made me wonder if smoking is as addictive as everyone seems to think.

How is this going to be policed though?
sounds like a massive waste of time and money to me.
