Hope Not Hate are running a campaign to educate the electorate in some areas where the BNP are at risk of winning a seat in the European elections. Any donations go towards a leafletting campaign to help people realise what the BNP really stand for and to encourage as many voters as possible to vote against them.

And if you are upset by any BNP leaflets being delivered to your house, it may be worthwhile phoning the police. In some areas, they are willing to send out a patrol car if you report the leaflet as an incitement to race hatred.

And what will the patrol car do - arrest the leaflet? Soz, I don't understand?

heh heh... no: should have said, if you phone when the leaflet is delivered, the patrol car will patrol the area and prevent the leafleter from distributing more.

I'm not totally sure about this but I think we got one delievered by our postie along with leaflets from all other parties at the same time.

i think i'd phone the royal mail about that!!
