Its really awful I can't believe its not the top headline news. Sounds like some of the injuries are serious.

our local news update is that 4 of the kids are seriously injured - but it could have been much worse, by an amazing fluke, the heating duct fell IN BETWEEN the rows of desks where they were doing the exams

I'm probably being pathetic, but if people post things like this, could they put the name of the school in the title? I couldn't open the link and had a couple of minutes of irrational panic (2 children at school in Kent as I type!)

sorry to panic you seeker, my kids are at school in kent too and I would have had a panciky moment too

we think our LOs are safe in school

am now concerend as our school hall roof is currently being mended, lots of men and equipment up there in this wind and hall still in full use for assembly PE and meals

how awfull, thankd god no one was killed

Two children were seriously injured and one has undergone surgery. I hope all are ok and well soon.
