Has anyone signed the 'Resign' petition for Gordon Brown?

I read about this at the weekend. I think about 3000 people have signed it just this morning.

Yeh, because he's really going to resign over a petition. Why don't these people just, urm...vote? Election can't be far off now.

I like the completely dim uninformative description of why the petitioners are calling on him to resign, too

I must admit that I had never looked at the website before, and there does seem to be quite a high hit rate of looniness and deluded people.

I was just curious as I had seen in the press what a high hit rate this petition was getting; it's about 15,000 now - as opposed to 9 for some of the others!

I'm not sure about an election any time soon though; Brown has nothing to lose now and so he might as well hang on until the bitter end
