Thought JP's response was a bit pathetic. Claimed they were frightening his wife who was in the house.

Can't wait for the election, friend of mine is up against JP for his East Hull seat.

I hope he gives Jabba a run for his money

It's a she Jools. Local councillor, mortal enemy of JP. He is often heard to mutter "I hate that (name) woman". Unfortunately I doubt that she has much chance of gaining the seat but might well split the voters enough to force JP to worry

so much the better a woman - please let her at least reduce his majority - politics aside I can't stand the man!

He's pretty graceless these days.

The thing which sprung to mind when JP claimed Greenpeace was frightening his wife, was that famous Jane Austen comment about the wife who was brought to bed of a dead child owing to a fright some weeks before "I suppose she happened to look unawares at her husband". The immediate assumption has got to be that anyone who actually lives with John Prescott and looks at him everyday, would take an awful lot more than a few Greenpeace activists to frighten.

Ohhh can't stand the man,he is an ill mannered violent lout.
