Some of them would let a child killer walk the streets as long as they benefited from it financially.

i wonder if he managed to cover up other, perhaps less fatal, incidents. Wasn't he abusive to his wife Ronnie? I doubt this was an isolated aberration of character. Which is why it's so sad if it is possible to evade the legal system if you are rich and powerful.
