Disgusting. How's that egg going to feel at the school gates with its geriatric old bird, grey feathers, gnarled feet etc?

That's lovely. I can see that she'd laid many more eggs than is usual, but for the life of me, I can't see what her age is.

She's been nesting there since 1991, so she's at least 18
