i heard about this on the radio that poor woman

that is really quite horrible.
but she was only 8 weeks pregnant... so surely not very much in the bag to see???
seems very odd

Starlover - I wouldn't be too sure about that - do a google search for 8 week fetus - I'd say there would be enough to 'see' what it was

I would have liked to have had my 12 week feoutus to burry. Shocking for the poor lady I totally supmpathise with her. Must have been a terrible shock. I know i wanyted to know what happened to mine and i found out before my D&C for peace of mind.

i am speechless.

i had a scan at 6 weeks and it was a teeny tiny sac and not much more.
I realise that they grow quite rapidly... but still...

She must have thought someone was playing a sick joke on her-its disgusting!

God if it had happened to me I think I would have lost the plot completely. That poor woman.. When I had m/c they siad the remains would be cremated at a local cemetary and 'special' babies were remembered in the hospital chapel. These things helped me so I can't imagine what she is going through right now.

What can you say?

i had a scan at five weeks, and all youcould see was the gestational sac. at six you could see the baby. so at eight id imagine there was enough there to see what it was.
