well if tv advertising is so effective why isnt my son nagging me for cillit bang instead of crisps when i go to the shops ?

It could be quite embarrassing when it comes on if you re a teen. LIke when they started tampon ads and you were sitting on the sofa with yr dad humming "Bodddyformmm."

I agree. More and more information isn't the answer here. What might work is generally cutting back on images of women as sex objects--all over TV, the media, etc. Many underage girls just think that the only way to get on is to have sex. It's sad and depressing.

WHy dont pregnant teens HAVE abortions then? God I would have done.

I heard about this, was they can't advertise condoms - why?!

StealthPolarBear · 26/03/2009 16:44

Suppose what would make a lot more sense would be to advertise faily planning clinics and mention you can get free condoms!

hercules1 · 26/03/2009 16:44

Tengreenbottles - my dd is always telling me to buy cillit bang when we are shopping!

I wonder how many first sexual experiences are unprotected.
