Oh god, what a moving statement!

It must be so easy to want to blame EVERYONE and very difficult to focus on what actually went wrong.

So dreadful what happened; good for them not wanting a witch-hunt. Don't know whether I'd be so restrained

bloody hell. Horrifying case and very impressive statement.

Let's hope he's right about the quality of the investigation. That everyone involved feels able to speak honestly and openly without fearing the consequences if they say something other people don't want to hear.
