8yo boy gains Math's A level

Sat the exam aged 8, achieving 90% and a grade A.

His older brother, 11y, gained 96% in Further Maths.

Pretty impressive! Hpope it is true they still get lots pf play time too though.

I think Maths is one of those subjects that some rare children just "get" intuitively, and enjoy. I certainly wasn't one of them, but can understand why you'd get a kick out of it and want to do it if it came naturally - it's very satisfying!

I was just kidding. They go to a state primary in Hants. And the BBC article says that the parents were very involved whilst still making sure they had free time too.

I'm sure it's down to a lot of hard work. We should go tell Xenia about the benefits of state school.
