if we have apologies.
if we haven't then i'd like to know others feelings on the worst incident in sports terrorism since munich.
absolutely devestated for all involved and i truely believe pakistan sahould no longer be allowed to host the cricket world cup, as there are now very real safety concerns for all involved.
i know it's a much smaller issue but i also do feel sorry for all true pakistan cricket fans as there image has been tainted as has something they truely love.
of course my biggest sympathies lie with the families of the dead police.

absoloutely shocking events.
I can't see how anyone would be prepared to go there again now - espcially as the Govt had given the individual Sri Lankan cricketers personal assurances of their safety when they agreed to replace India.
I am still that not one of the 14 or so have been caught.
Terrible events and tragic for cricket as a whole

Unbelievable

I personally don't believe that the new Prime Minister has been attentive or effective in addressing the key issues that are slowly undermining Pakistan's coherancy and the government's authority.

One source says that the Islamic group thought to have carried out this atrocity did so because cricket is unislamic.

IMHO, there is something very rotton about a significant number of the Madrasses (sp?) which appear to be breeding grounds for the wicked and barbaric perpetrators who are behind this and other atrocities (Mumbai, London 7/7 bombings etc). The path always leads back to Pakistan.

My sympathies are with the families of the murdered policemen and the other victims.

Also, I don't believe that international cricket should be played in Pakistan again indefinitely. The government gave assurances that the Sri Lankan team would have Presidential level protection. This was the result. There was definitely an insider who tipped off the murderers because team's route had been changed at the last minute.

I don't see how the cricketing authorities can trust the government's assurance again after this barbaric attack.
