Has Boden gone under?

It's just that I haven't been able to get on their website for a couple of days....?

TBH, I wouldn't be surprised; their clothes were not good at all - very poor quality IMO.

Has anyone heard anything?

I was on their website yesterday, so no.

pagwatch · 25/02/2009 14:44

a small thing I know but if you hate the clothes why are you trying to get on the website?

diedandgonetodevon · 25/02/2009 14:45

Their site was working ok yesterday. Assume you mean www.boden.co.uk?

Hmm
gingertoo · 25/02/2009 14:57

just had a parcel of 'very poor quality clothes' from Boden delivered this morning so all seems well in Boden-land.......

000Laura000 · 25/02/2009 14:58

I was going to website in case they HAD gone under.

I also never said I hate the clothes. Read my original post. I said "poor quality".

TinaTuna · 25/02/2009 14:58

LOLOL

fryalot · 25/02/2009 14:58

never!

MerlinsBeard · 25/02/2009 14:59

i think MN would have gone if Boden had

I think MN keeps Boden afloat!!!

pooka · 25/02/2009 15:01

Lol at going on the website "in case they had gone under".

Why.....?

Definitely still up and running and no clearance bargains on the poor quality clothes to be had.

pagwatch · 25/02/2009 15:02

oh I see....

Boden clothes are really poor quality, in fact not good at all - so bad indeed that it is astonishing that they are still trading. In fact just try to get on the site just to check they are on their way out.

But you like them.

makes perfect sense
and [is it me emoticon]

MerlinsBeard · 25/02/2009 15:02

actually, i am obviously not a proper MNetter as i have never even visited the site

TinaTuna · 25/02/2009 15:03

I think say "sassy" 20 times

fryalot · 25/02/2009 15:03

MoM - me neither (don't tell anyone though, it may spoil my MNcred )

iwontbite · 25/02/2009 15:04

so, you don't hate the clothes, you just think they're very poor quality.
and you felt the need to check the website for a few days just inc ase they'd gone under...???

oooooook

actually, i think you are johnnie and you're just trying to get more traffic to the site

MerlinsBeard · 25/02/2009 15:04

lol @ MNCred

pagwatch · 25/02/2009 15:06

I bought DD a Boden dress once but it was from ebay.
so not what you would call a fan. Which I think means I need to go and spend a few hours trying to load the site....
errr...

AitchTwoOh · 25/02/2009 15:07

ROFL at 'say sassy 20 times'.

muffle · 25/02/2009 15:10

Yes Iwon'tbite, I thought that too! Johnnie would definitely, when trying to pick a plausible everyday mum's name out of the air, come up with "Laura".
