this?

not read it. Is it something that ought to come with a warning, before I decide to click?

georgiemum · 30/01/2009 17:56

Father goes nuts on bridge (after nasty divorce and custody battle), stops car, picks up one of his children and drops her over the side in front of the other 2 children. She died after being hauled out of the water (fropped about 200 feet into the river).

Seriously disturbing.

Janos · 30/01/2009 18:25

Hateful man. Poor little girl. Really hope she didn't suffer too much

Mind you, can't imagine this piece of behavior will improve his chances in the custody battle.

How can that be though dittany?

Surely it's not the case that they are motivated more by a desire to hurt their ex wife than to care for the children?

No, I'm sure that can't be the case. The ex probably drove him to it.

sorrento · 30/01/2009 18:51

Janos, you are kidding ?
The ex drove him to hang the child over the side of a bridge and let go ? She was 4 she would have known what was happening. He should be pushed off the fucking bridge himself.

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 30/01/2009 18:53

janos, ffs

do you really think the "ex driving him to it" justifies what he did ?

AnyFucker · 30/01/2009 18:54

I would throw him off that bridge myself for whta he did to that little girl in front of his brothers

I don't give a fucking shit how bad the custody battle had got

AnyFucker · 30/01/2009 18:55

*her brothers

Watusi · 30/01/2009 18:56

I imagine Janos is kidding

black sarcasm probably

I will go and read it but not sure I want to.

eNABlemetobebetter · 30/01/2009 18:57

It does seem that the father's are driven to despair but killing the child is not going to get them custody, so it has to be an evil act.

Janos · 30/01/2009 18:57

Bloody hell, of course I don't think that she drove him to it. I was being sarcastic!

I was trying (obviously not very well) to parody that sort of attitude because someone usually brings it up at some point.

AnyFucker · 30/01/2009 18:59

oh sorry, I saw red there janos

PinkTulips · 30/01/2009 18:59

i think janos was being sarcastic.... that's how i read it anyway.

horrific story

Janos · 30/01/2009 19:00

I can understand anyfucker.

This sort of thing makes me see red too and sadly it seems to happen far too often

sorrento · 30/01/2009 19:01

Fair enough sorry, am just so so upset by this story.

Dear God, I hope she didn't suffer for more than a nanosecond.

Poor little things and poor mother

I imagine he will never recover either from what he has done.

Janos · 30/01/2009 19:08

No need to apologise, sorrento I'd probably have the same reaction if I thought someone was defending him.

I agree, it's incredibly distressing.

Janos · 30/01/2009 20:54

Yes dittany it is. In fact posters here thought I did mean it which (sadly) illustrates your point pretty well.

ellasmum1 · 30/01/2009 20:59

hope he burns in hell.

sfxmum · 30/01/2009 21:12

I suppose this is what happens when people see children as a commodity and not human beings
how awful of this despicable man absolutely nothing justifies this behaviour

HerBeatitudeLittleBella · 30/01/2009 21:41

It's what happens when no-one takes any notice of the warning signs that these men generally display, before they kill their children.

I just bet there were warning signs which authorities ignored.

Watusi · 31/01/2009 07:28

Perhaps he did not mean to drop her, just frighten people. Fucking stupid thing to do in any case.
