He's a very strange man - according to the Sky news report, he doesn't actually deny that he had sex with these young men when they were children, he denies that a) they were children and b) that there was anything wrong with having sex with them, even though it was illegal at the time.

I don't know why the UK can't take this stuff seriously. I get really wound up as every court case I hear about paedophiles seem to get a slap on the wrist and sent back out to completely ruin other poor peoples lives. It's disgusting.

I'm probably going to get shot down in flames for this and I should check my facts as I don't know if he was actually charged but Pete Townshend appparently paid for (on more than one occasion) frighteningly horrific images of child abuse for "a book" he was researching/writing.

Where is the book?

good point Bubble99 - as I recall pete towsnend got off with a caution and nothing more.It's funny how paedophilia is ok for some people and not others! Jonathan King is clearly a fantasist who thinks he is above reproach because of his 'celebrity' status.What a sad tired old twat he is.Still, if the press reports are anything to go by I fully expect hin to be beaten up severly in the near future by irate neighbours who will have to tolerate his vile presence in their locality.
