DS1 is fascinated by it - but he does every now and then hide if we are out in the dark because he says the moon is following him.

Ahhh explains why the moon was v large and bright last night.

nailpolish · 12/12/2008 13:43

i have convinced dd2 the moon is made of cheese and a man lives there

ds loves the moon too, he always 'ooohs' and points to it.

That's a great pic alongside the news story isn't it? Will keep a look out. Just hope it's not too cloudy in eastern Scotland!

dd3 loves it. 'My moon!' Short pause, looks at me, pats my arm and says: 'Share'

southeastastra · 12/12/2008 13:48

When DS was little he got so excited every time he saw the moon and shouted 'MOON' and pointed.

Problem was, he thought every light he saw outside was the moon so I'd pick him up from nursery and he'd point at the street lights screaming "MOON, MUMMY, MOON, MOON"

Anna8888 · 12/12/2008 13:58

Oh thanks, will look out for the moon tonight. DD loves it and has only just given up pronouncing it "mewn" (she used to "fewd" as well).

GoodWilfToAllMN · 12/12/2008 14:04

S'gonna chuck it down though.

There's going to be brilliant meteor showers tonight also. [double ]

dd loves the moon too. So does my god daughter.

dd says that it follows her too cute

southeastastra · 12/12/2008 20:28

ooh worth a bump!

noonki · 12/12/2008 21:29

it's cloudy here hummph

Woollymummy · 12/12/2008 21:43

DD has always loved it, she is 2 and a half now but used to say BBBHHHOOOO! everytime she saw it. her little brother 7m smiled at the full moon tonight at his bedtime and we played peekaboo with it as she was popping behind clouds every few seconds.... he loved it. I love it too, I always do more housework at full moon...

JumpingJingleBellsDizzy · 12/12/2008 21:47

I can't see it as it's wet outside? My boys are fascinated with the moon and loved it being full
