Saw something in the paper about the two in Glasgow a week or two ago. Obviously no-one wants to panic or become overly paranoid but it is good to be aware that there might be person or persons out there attempting this at the moment. My own children aren't in the age group to be walking unnaccompanied but I think I may look twice if I see any out of the ordinary interactions between a child pedestrian and an adult in a car - would like to think I would have anyway but it pays to be alert to these things.

Saw that this morning!

Between that and the other 2 last week (although they're unrelated aren't they?) I must admit I'm concerned.

My 2 are 6 & 8, so are never really anywhere without an adult. Although ds1 is allowed to local shop himself. It's within sight of our house.

Just glad that all 3 children have managed to get away and report it.

Must be very frightening. Thank heavens the children managed to get away. Hope the police manage to find the people responsible.
