Okay, it's not my paper of choice, but I was under the (clearly mistaken) impression that it was at least a quality broadsheet, just not one that espouses my political views, and then I came across this today and was rendered speechless!! Is it just me, or is there more and more opinionated drivel in all the papers these days!

Well someone give me a white poppy so I can ruin his day. I believe that there are better ways of solving conflicts than killing strangers" too. I should hope that so do most of those actually killing the strangers.
It's perfectly possible to honour those who fight while hoping they won't have to ever again.

Not that I agree with some who are totally pacifist since that invites attack. It's supposed to be a last resort, but it has to BE a resort for when all else fails.

YOU WEAR A WHITE POPPY THE TERRORISTS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know, the Torygraph gets more like Fox News every day.

Personally I believe in promoting peace and harmony between people of all nations, and reluctantly shooting people in the face if they try and disrupt this agenda.

Apparently this approach makes me a snivelling liberal peacenik crybaby...
