that is kind of shocking... but then, there was nothing specifically to make them think it would be a tumour was there?

i don't know much about it, not a doctor or anything, but if you thought someone was overweight there would be no reason to give him a scan, or to presume it would be anything else other than normal weight gain

i may be wrong!

but it says he'd had 3 operations, and had gone with circulation problems - and the fact that the new hospital picked up the problem in just one month........I'm sure there must have been 'some' signs......

the royal marsden specialises in cancer though maybe that's why they were quicker to pick it up.
