Do people really think the BBC should stop experimenting and trying new things? Should it just stick with the suited and booted old commentators and presenters of days of old? Never take any risks? Maybe this particular example looked wrong, but it could have been an interesting angle. They took a chance.
Part fo the reason we pay the license fee is to nurture new creative talent in the UK. That is an important part of the BBC's remit. It gives chances to new script writers, directors, producers, actors. Sometimes it will get it wrong, many times it will get it right. Give the Beeb a break.
