Oh You Bad Bad Kitten!

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 04/11/2008 09:18

stitch · 04/11/2008 09:20

its a bit early to start posting threads with such titles.
please dont. i will have a heart attack

ilovemydogOBAMAFORPRESIDENT · 04/11/2008 09:20

I can't stand the wait

Hassled · 04/11/2008 09:22

I have a much better knowledge of the US electoral system since I became obsessed with the West Wing . I so want Obama to win but equally so afraid that sooner or later one of these assassination attempts will actually succeed.

CatIsSleepy · 04/11/2008 12:46

yay

am unfeasibly excited about this election

though at the same time am sort of dreading waking up tomorrow and finding out that McCain has done it after all
(aaaaaarggggh)

OhYouBadBadKitten · 04/11/2008 12:50

sorry stitch - I was feeling a bit impish!

seriously - I am desperate to watch results come in tonight and early tomorrow but I agreed to go on a school trip to do one on one supervision with a child who needs one on one. I darent get myself exhausted by staying up tonight. its not fair!

Came across this page on what to look out for today in terms of election news and what not. Tis interesting.

Good God! How ironic that I should find out about this on MN... Or maybe not!

meglet · 04/11/2008 14:28

Does anyone else find it odd that they can declare the result before all the other polls have closed. Surely it could influence other results?

Fillyjonk · 04/11/2008 14:34

I know, isn't it great?

Did he not also win in the village the next hill along or something too?

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 04/11/2008 14:36

I'm not sure it could really influence results when it's a 2 horse race - as you're either voting for one or the other!

squeaver · 04/11/2008 14:38

In other news, Hillary Clinton has "there's something about mary" hair today.

Fillyjonk · 04/11/2008 14:38

well I think the reasoning is that it might encourage people to vote, ot make them complacent and so stay at home.

I think that Obama complacency MIGHT be an issue here, tbh. Any complacent Americans reading this, REMEMBER 2001!

MrsThierryHenry · 04/11/2008 14:45

Badkitten, Baaaaadkitten!

Still, you posted a v useful link, so you're forgiven

OhYouBadBadKitten · 04/11/2008 15:25
