Couldn't think where else to put this, I'm home alone today and haven't yet had my first outing on my crutches (especialy solo!) so thought I'd ask first.

Am I in todays Mirror?

Why would you be (so I know what to look for!)

NomDePlume · 04/10/2008 16:06

dunno, who are you ?

Not that I read the mirror anyway.

NomDePlume · 04/10/2008 16:06

is the mirror onine ? can you check there

TinkerBellesMum · 04/10/2008 17:24

They're telling the story of my two girls (Lily-Hope and Isobel aka Tink). The journalist said it would be part of their magazine but they told me it would be in last Monday. I've looked every day this week but not seen it so thought maybe it made it in today.

If it is in the magazine, real life stories tend to be in the Sunday one.

TinkerBellesMum · 04/10/2008 23:33

Ah, I'm going out with Mum tomorrow so will have to have a look then.

You're in it today- hello! Really lovely, touching story, and as a mum whose first baby was stillborn, I do lke to see pieces that heighten people's awareness of pregnancy conditions like this. What a wonderful thing to have done for your girls, and self.

cheekysealion · 06/10/2008 11:56

is it online?

WendyWeber · 06/10/2008 11:58

Oh, Tink, that is a wonderful story It's incredible that Lily lived such a long time when she was so early & so tiny.

Isobel is beautiful; good luck with the new baby

CharleeInChains · 06/10/2008 12:04

What a beautiful story.

I have to have Heparin (clexaine) whilst pregnant to, i lost 6 babies very early because of it, it's heart breaking but i have two boys now and all the daily injections and time spent in hospital are so worth it to see them and hug them everyday. x

suwoohoohoooooooo · 06/10/2008 12:05

Lovely story, the picture of you holding Lily-Hope has made me cry, she was so so tiny. Lots of love to you for this pregnancy.

forevercleaning · 06/10/2008 12:09

PortofinoPumpkin · 06/10/2008 12:14

Oh I'm crying now! That is so lovely.

TinkerBellesMum · 06/10/2008 12:28

Aww they've done that so nice (they've embelished slightly, but not in a bad way lol).

That picture of you with Lily Hope has just broke my heart. I am 23 weeks pregnant with DD3 and couldn't imagine having to deal with that.

Lovely story and Isobel is gorgeous.

VineGARISHtits · 06/10/2008 12:45

Thats a very moving and lovely story, i have a lump in my throat now and im sat in work

TinkerBellesMum · 06/10/2008 12:46

There are a couple of pictures of us and I was trying to look normal but suddenly felt very angry so I'm scowling at the camera. The one they chose I think I look like I'm holding my heart

Lovely lovely story, so sad, yet so happy and hopeful. God bless you all. x

TinkerBellesMum · 06/10/2008 19:10

Just spoke to Mum, she's shown Tink the pictures in the paper and asked who they are. She said "My Mummy" "My Daddy" "My Nanny" "My Lily, my sister" and then Mum pointed to the big one and asked who it was "Lily's sister!"

I can't get over how ill I looked 8 weeks after she was born. I reacted to the GA as is common in our family, it was my first.

Mum's laughing at the "family day out" picture taken in Menorca!

in floods here! what a lovely, lovely story. I'm so sorry for your losses, but Lily was so brave and you were so wise to realise she'd hung on to give you a message. she was an Angel.

Good luck with everything.
