they say more accidents happen at home.

a friend of mine dropped the electric tile cutter on his leg while home alone. He was so frightened he'd bleed to death he just ran (well limped perhaps) out of the flat, into the lift and down into the street. Didn't stop to call an ambulance.

Left the most horrendous trail of blood through the building and lift...and gave the passers-by a nasty shock.

Fully recovered now,though.
