Please make it pushchair friendly! Not convinced how much notice they will take, but Boris Johnson is running a competition to design a new bus for London to replace the bendy buses. Link here www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/corporate/projectsandschemes/technologyandequipment/anewbusforlondon/default.aspx I know people have mixed views about the bendy buses (cyclists in particular)but the one the thing they are much better than normal buses for is pushchair access. You can wheel up to 5 on directly through the two back doors and can even get a double buggy on with reasonable ease. So even if design isn't your thing why not have a go and design a 'mum and child' friendly bus? Chances are that if we don't make our voice heard a bunch of non-parents (nearly said men ) will design the new buses to be just as inaccessible for pushchairs as most of the current ones...
