And why are they always the plainest girls ever? She's a perfectly ordinary looking girl, why on earth does she think she has a career in glamour modelling?

WendyWeber · 08/07/2008 09:39

Oh, I saw that, katz. How thick are they?

'I'm not worried about this tanorexia nonsense, or skin cancer from sunbeds. It hasn't affected her health.'

Well, no, she's still only 15. Give it a few more years...

katz · 08/07/2008 09:43

Why would you want to be a glamour model?

Why do children no longer want to be teachers, doctors, lawyers, why is the current new dream job 'to be famous' not an actor or a singer but just famous?

Not my DD. Over my dead body.

She wants to be an engineer, anyway.

ChickenBurger · 08/07/2008 12:06

ng-buy-boob-job.html whatever happened to not wanting to be famous?

davidtennantsmistress · 08/07/2008 12:07

well, my 10 year old cousin has said she wants to be a wag, and doesn't have to work in school! lol.

lulumama · 08/07/2008 12:10

she is an averagely pretty girl.

jordan is an anomaly in terms of her career.. she has made millions and millions and millions, very few glamour models will have that sort of longevity and career. she has also made investments and has branched out...

i doubt that many glamour models will make that sort of money

what is her back up?

usuallyelectra · 08/07/2008 12:15

I don't think she's plain. But anyway glamour models usually aren't stunning but have a good body. Aside from this, there are loads of young girls in the UK who want to be glamour models but if you read the DM you will find it masqueraded there as news LOL.

bethoo · 08/07/2008 12:22

if i got a nice big house out of it why not??

bethoo · 08/07/2008 12:23

like mentioned before Jordan is a one off, look at Jodi Marsh who tried ot copy her, need i say more!

claricebeansmum · 08/07/2008 12:23

No no no.
This is a career choice?
And when it all goes tits up where will she be?

davidtennantsmistress · 08/07/2008 12:24

prob one step away form being a porn star

I didn't just say that??

usuallyelectra · 08/07/2008 12:29

Jordan's celebrity is helped by her union with Peter Andre - the two of them are far more interesting for everyone together than they would be by themselves (like the Beckhams) But in her autobiography she says she was financially secure by the time she was 20 - glamour models do earn good money, even those who aren't very famous.

GooseyLoosey · 08/07/2008 12:31

Noooooooo! I would be disturbed by her getting her boobs out for money but it is not that that would be really off putting for me, it is making every aspect of her private life available for public scrutiny for money.

LazyLinePainterJane · 08/07/2008 12:48

TBH, if that was what my daughter decided she wanted, then I would be wondering where I went wrong....

MmeBovary · 08/07/2008 12:59

In a way I really admire Jordan - she has taken what's she got, made the most of it and worked hard to make a career - and she still seems relatively down to earth. On the other hand - my dd - I really hope she will make other career choices!

waffletrees · 08/07/2008 13:28

I have no problem with adult women choosing to be glamour models but 15 is too young to decide.

TBH - this girl is just not attractive enough to make it. She would be better off concentrating on her GCSEs.

Jordan is a one off. She is a shrewd business woman who happens to also be very good looking.

theSuburbanDryad · 08/07/2008 13:39

I find the story about the 11 year old far more disturbing, personally.

noddyholder · 08/07/2008 13:46

shocking on every level.
