whats happened to shannon matthews?

I think there's a media blackout so as to not prejudice the trial. I think the trial was set for nov/dec time - trial of both step-uncle (was it?) and mum. As for Shannon herself, she's not with the family - probably foster care somewhere.

Any news on the other siblings theinsider? I worried about them at the time.

The mother is in prison awaiting trial having been refused bail so I guess the siblings are also in care. She faces charges of child neglect and perverting the course of justice so one imagines other children would have been removed from her care until trial even if bail had been granted.

It was a very odd story, I'll be interested in what comes out at the trial.

Other members of the extended family were also implicated so it also seems unlikely they would have been placed with family members either.

Yes she did. Cant remember her name, but dont think she mad much/anything to do with the family, so may not know much mre than us.

I hope Shannon is loved secure and with her kitten and that she gets to see her siblings and that they retain some family ties
I esp think about the wee 2 yr old - tough times
