I don't know whether to be more shocked at a woman sustaining a pregnancy at 70, or that the Indians put so much pressure on women to bear a son that her and her husband would go to such lengths.

Idiot.

About time this was regulated for the sake of the children. My mum was 40 and my dad 50 when I was born and it is hard enough now, in my mid-30s, dealing with elderly parents. Let alone being born to elderly parents.

Selfish, selfish people.

Wrong on so many levels. Very sad for the poor woman who clearly went through a very traumatic birth. Hope the children are ok.
