So sad.
This poor man had every part of his life disseminated.
And if she’s innocent. Even sadder. What a waste of two young health professionals.

The BBC aren’t reporting that Dr A is dead, neither are the Guardian, but other places are. Anywhere that I’ve seen people say ‘he’s not dead’ ends with ‘well I can’t tell you how I know’.

So, is he dead or not? Anyone have any other reason other than ‘cant say’ or ‘they’re wrong’?

No.

Well surely they need to print an apology and a retraction.

Well surely they need to print an apology and a retraction.

There’s no apologies, no retractions, no ‘better’ sources, people are repeating it, no one is coming forward to say ‘I’m a solicitor, he’s instructed me to say it’s false’, nothing. Just some news outlets saying it’s true, and some random people saying it’s not true. Very confusing.

He’s definitely dead. The Sun and the Daily Mail wouldn’t make this story up out of thin air. The previous poster just thought for no apparent reason that The Sun were mixing up Dr A and Dr Rackham. Liz Hull at the Daily Mail is an extremely reliable source.

So is Dr Rakham the one who was already named, and he was ill for a short while then died?

And Dr A was never named and he was her ‘boyfriend/not boyfriend’ and he was sacked and found dead in his car as per the Daily Mail article linked today?

I too think you might complain about this newspaper or that one, but I’ve never known them to fabricate an easily checkable persons death. He might not have been named publicly, but presumably everyone on those wards knew who he was at the time, and some will still have been working with him recently.

Looks like the sun was right. Awful all round.

I am also aware Dr A has not died.

If we ever need proof not to believe people on here...
