Nothing to comment really other than to say how tragic. My heart goes out to her family and the neighbour.

This could so easily be my DD. She got out one afternoon while I was distracted, and a driver stopped to pick her up off the road and find me.

We now have a stairgate across the porch door.

There was a similar story to this last month in Sheffield. A little boy, around 5 or 6 years old was killed in the same way. It's so sad.

As you say, your heart goes out to the family, but also to the neighbour. It could so easily be any of us on either side of this tragedy.
