It said that the woman took a handbag into the sentimental items in it? Why would you take a handbag into the sea?

How sad. Perhaps her dad got into trouble and she ran in not thinking of the bag?

I carry a bag with lots of stuff in it and if I was going in after a family member in trouble I wouldn’t think to take it off.
