Are you watching all of the holocaust 60 anniversary shows? Its hard to believe that it only preceded many of us by a few generations.

I am making my kids watch the one tonight on BBC 1 cause they need to know about it. I teach them about politics and they are pretty keyed up to see these shows. Probably be a tearful night.

Anybody watch the show last night BBC1 made by the 13 year old about his grandmother who survived Auschwitz? Did you kids watch it? What did they think? It was very moving.

Surely almost all of our parents were alive during the war? Anyone who is interested in the holocaust should read Primo Levi's If This is a Man and The Truce.

Totally agree with you Cam... Primo Levi's books are amazing... highly recommend them
