The problem is that most want him arrested for things where there simply isn't the evidence that he has committed a crime. For example, I note that another poster raises the common trope that he is a paedophile. However, there is no evidence to support this. It is true that Virginia Giuffre said she was underage when he had sex with her, but on her own evidence this was not true. She was relying on the law in Florida, where the age of consent is 18. However, none of the three alleged encounters took place there. All three of them were in jurisdictions where the age of consent was 16 at the relevant time. As she was 17, she was over the age of consent.
She did claim that he raped her, but her evidence on this was weak and partially contradicted by other Epstein victims, and she refused to co-operate with the authorities, so he was never going to be convicted of that.
Until the emergence of the Epstein files, there did not appear to be the evidence to charge him with anything. Now, there clearly is evidence. Whether it is enough to convict remains to be seen.
