2 year old left for whole weekend!

just heard on the radio that some feckless mothr left her 2 year old alone for the whole weekend while she went to stay with her boyfriend! appara police found the toddler in a dirty vest and nappy crying for help. being charged with neglect, cruelty etc. God help us. She should be neutered!!

Georgiemama, you may be right re the father - people are quick to judge him as well yet he may not have known anything about the child. Social Services do usually try and place the child with family where possible and i'm sure would have looked into the possibility of the father getting custody if possible.
