I've seen some of the news coverage. It makes me feel a bit sick TBH. All this pomp for this dreadful man. I don't know how the royals can stomach it.

This is exactly their job. Charles has met with plenty of colourful characters in his time. Smile and wave, boys, smile and wave. Melania could take smiling tips from them. She always looks grim faced, not without reason, but she knew what she was getting into

Kier Starmer sacked Lord Mandelson because he was a close friend of Epstein.
Why do we allow another close friend of Epstein into the UK? Trump should be refused entry.

There does seem to be a photo of PA and Epstein among them. Perhaps Prince Andrew should have been tasked with hosting Trump , that would have bruised his enormous ego

I for one am really heartened by the vibe displayed by all of them in the last couple of days.

There is so much conflict in the world, this feels actually quite refreshing.

I think we all recognise the role of a state visit however it is difficult to celebrate Trump being here when it just reinforces how corrupt our political systems are.

Just seen photos of Melania with Camilla this morning and she looks relaxed, almost content. She's actually smiling. And hat free. Must be enjoying the break from the orange one.

I don’t like Trump but I love looking at photos of stuff like this so yes have been following!

I also think a state visit was inevitable, we always invite the US president for a visit, they are a major ally and we can’t just not invite Trump because lots of people disagree with him politically.

The royals are just doing their job, doesn’t matter what they think of Trump in private.
