Couldn't see another topic about this in the News section and didn’t want to infiltrate the disability section, as I know this topic can be emotive and posts can be controversial.
So the welfare bill passed tonight with some big changes to the initial proposals. It’s still a bit of a moving story, it seems, and I feel that things aren’t actually much clearer than they were a week ago. I haven’t followed much of the last few hours, but it appears that things won’t be set in stone until the Timms review is published towards the end of 2026.
What are your thoughts on today? Anyone want to hazard a prediction as to how this will play out in the next 18 months or so?
