Never Ending Renovation Dramas

This article reinforces my lifelong commitment not to become involved (or allow anyone I live with to become involved) in any DIY work other than changing the occasional light switch. I'd be interested to know how many MNers life with NERDs - I was quite surprised at how high the quoted figure was.
