BBC article always joked dad looked nothing like his parents - then we found out why [[https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c4gexw7l7rwo www.bbc.com/news/articles/c4gexw7l7rwo

I have heard of this happening a few times in America, and in both those cases I always wondered if it might have been better to have been kept in a state of ignorance. I guess newborns used to be routinely separated from their mothers after birth?

He decided not to tell his Dad about the Switch. If you think about it any of us could have been Switched at birth. It certainly makes you wonder just how many other times this has happened and it’s never came to light.

The TV show Switched at birth was really good at looking at this from a deeper angle. A little bit of a teen drama angst, but a really good emotional show.
